The USS Xelisa is a Galaxy class starship assigned to Task Group Kusanagi in Task Force 38 "Defense Force Delta" for Bravo fleet.
We live in a great expanse of unknown. An expanse which included 400 billion stars and countless planets within its span of 100,000 light years. Since it's formation 13.6 billion years ago, the Milky Way Galaxy has always been the source of limitless mysteries. A place where the earliest civilizations and explorers had looked towards for their inspiration, and their hope. (Quoted- Rear Admiral Walter Picardo Tenson)
USS Xelisa mission is simple to explore the Delta Quadrant, the largest uncharted region left in this great expanse. To keep peace and to help those who ask for it.
The unknown is a dangerous place and we need people who are willing to take the danger head on. Keeping the Peace is not so easy task when allies can turn enemies in a blink of an eye and helping those who need it doesnt always appear as it seems.
The new doors are open. The new chapter begins.
Join now to take part in an adventure of a lifetime! Are you up for the challenge!?!

Please visit the Ship Tour. I have uploaded the floor plans of all the decks on the Galaxy Class Starship. There are a few important Decks like Decks 1, 2,3, 10, but have a look - you'll see some words were erased and i added new ones - mainly from "Geordi Laforge's Quarters to Chief Engineers Quarters. Have a look and check it out. Hopefully it will help add some realism to all our posts.
Finally as i said earlier make sure you post with lots of detail. Short posts get the job done but don't really contribute to the plot. Detail Detail Detail - isn't that what your English or Drama teachers told you!!!
This is important because the Task Forces want us ( Jasmin and Myself to be putting new discoveries and such into our monthlies....
This can be anything from there is a solar system in such and such a place. To there is a beautiful planet with a friendly indigenous species living there. Good spot for shore leave. Famous for it's relaxing hot springs. Clothing is optional - in the past the culture went around naked but with more outsiders visiting the planet - they have taken to covering themselves up slightly.
- This is the kind of detail we need for the monthly.
Cheers all!

Posting started well but seems to have dropped off again. Let's try to get it back up.. even if your just not sure what to write.. write up a character development plot. You all know there are more than just one plot going during a regular episode of Trek. Let's hear some of your character's stories. Do a flash back moment or something like that.
There are 4 things I would like you all to check on and do before the end of the month... sooner the better infact!
1. check to see that your Bio has a picture. If not check the simulation sites of other sims for one that would work.
http://www.stavatars.com/
The link is a good place to start!
2. Work on your bio. get the general stuff done. It really should have been done a long time ago when you joined the sim. Height Weight, likes dislikes. personality, fears famliy and what ever else you wish to put into the bio.
3. Finally this is more or less required anyway - at least one post a week. There are 5 weeks this month - so let's try to get this episode complete!
4. In the Monthly Report to the Task Force - CO's are now required to add a section on exploration and discovery... All i could put for this month was that we found out the nubula could communicate... last month was that the nebula was alive... It should not take a month to figure that stuff out folks. Let's all try to do better!
Finally if you are going away for the summer months - for an extended period of time 1 week or more -please message me so that i know!! It's very important you do this so I know who is active and who is not.
- Let's get posting back up - we've been a very easygoing ship

Happy Posting Josh!
SIMM News:
Steven has returned as our Chief Security Officer - he had some internet problems and apologizes for his absence.. so he's not dead!!
Let's get posting back up!! Finish those 2 posts so we can keep moving!
Also from the Bravo Fleet Site:
After lots of deliberations the web team has decided to that in order for Bravofleet.com and the other sites hosted by Dan to become self sufficient and insure the long term survival of Bravo Fleet, we are starting an advertising trial on Bravofleet.com, and soon to be on the forums as well. Currently Dan pays for server out of his own pockets, around $250 a month. Yet he has not even received a single donation for the last 2 month, and the total donation for 2008 have only been $150. That is less then one months hosting. We are not sure if will even be able to cover the server expenses with advertising, but we will try.
There will be no pop up or intermission ads or adult or other inappropriate ads. If you see anything inappropriate or offensive please email advertising@bravofleet.com, but I doubt there will be anything.
